There is nothing like being a wife. Lots of responsibilities and sharing with your hubby. You always must remain accessible, be calm, humorous or enjoy his humor, ready for love at anytime.
The house is your thing...decorating, cleaning, organ-
izing things, keeping track of things(his)and always (either)have meals ready or have permission to order out if other options don't work out. Learn to cook or if your hubby prefers to cook, help out all you can. Keep your spices fresh(they get stale in 3-6 mo.
and from heat too. Your pantry should always be stocked with the staples you usually use: pasta, spices, sauce ingredients, flour, sugar, baking soda and powder, salt & pepper(grinders, preferred) broths of
all types or granules for same, dry and evaporated milk, karo syrup(dark & lite), any mixes you prefer.
In the refrigerator: mild, eggs, creamer, cheeses and
cold cuts, vegetables(celery, carrots, sweet peppers,
or hot peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce(romaine),
parsley and cilantro, lemons and limes, oranges etc.
Have onions and potatoes unrefrigerated but cool in
separate containers(breathable, not closed containers.
You also need to keep some canned goods on hand, strictly your preference. Freezer vegetables and other things, like juices are helpful.
To some husbands, food is very important, others less so, but you should know what your hubby prefers.!!!

This is a bit of an old fashioned view. Today, sometimes the husband is a better cook or enjoys cooking or duties can be more shared. Every spouse whether husband or wife should strive to be a partner to the other and do what they can to be available to them. However, if being calm and humorous is forced or ungenuine it does more harm then good. Honesty and genuineness is much more important.

Being a wife carries great responsibilities. Keep the house clean, take care of the kids and husband, treat the guests well, stack the groceries and fruits, supply hygienic and healthier food to the family members, be a friend to them in their good and bad times, and sooooooooooooo on. The expectations from a wife are never ending. In short they are pleasurable burdens.

I am just being wife for 3 months and still enjoy it although I didn't do a lot in pantry, because I can't cook. I am thinking of learn to cook but still could not manage my time yet. I love to understand what my hubby prefers and I love it more when he understand what I prefer..

I love being a wife. Our pantry is never stocked. but I work with what we have. And when we do have enough food to cook a meal,I make sure that I cook for him. I enjoy making dinner for him so much. I love to sit down and eat as a family. Being a wife/mother is the best feeling in the world. Making sure the house is clean when he gets home, and making sure his work clothes are washed. I LOVE IT !!!
