I like alot of books, but I am currently reading "The hobbit". Has anyone ever read this book? Did you like it? Whats your favorite book, or what are you reading currently?

I have not read The hobbit before. My current favourite would have to be Zahir written by Paulo Coelho. It is brilliantly written with such wonderful use of language that I could not put the book down till I finish the last page. I intend to read it again and will read more of his books.

It is a book written about pilgrimage, love, loss and obsession. Wikipedia has a pretty good desciption and summary of the plot and storyline. You might like to check it out if you are interested. Here is the link - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Zahir_(novel)

I am custodian of books. But I could not afford the time of reading books. I believe that books are brains of the authors. I am living and working among the books, but my job is related to read the faces of the book lovers. I am a public librarian. I face the world wide problem of theft of books. This problem has been decreased as the people left to read the books. Reading of books habit is being vanished. The people who still fond of reading are rare and great. Audio and visual revolution caused to stop or decrease the rate of reading books. They watch tv and surf on internet to get the material of reading. Name of the book you quoted here is new to me as this book is not available in the city public library where I am working. I appreciate you because of your reading habit, which is out dated, but not bad. I am wonder that who could you steel the time from your other activities to read the books. How can we start to read the books as we used it in our very past?

I have read the hobbit, years ago. I remember that it was a good book. As far as a fave book, I like a lot. I used to love all v.c. andrews book. Recently I read the maximum ride series, by james patterson. Those were excellent books.
