The Magic have a 12-3 record, have beaten teams like the Celtics, Cavs and Heat with both Dwyane Wade and Shaq playing, have only lost to perennial superpowers Phoenix, Detroit and San Antonio and have the second best record in the East right now. Can the Magic sustain this all the way to the playoffs?

orlando seems to be a strong team. they are a contender as howard matures and knows his role in the team. howard is a leader in the team but he feels like he is still young to lead a team like magic. it is early to tell whether it can sustain its good start. i wish that the magic team remained healthy for the rest of the season until the playoff.

The Magic are off to a great start and have a lot of guys that can have a great night. Howard has been just tearing up the boards this year. He has been dominant in the paint. Something that the Magic have going for them is balance. The team is very balanced on the floor. They have two of the best 3-point shooters in the league (Lewis and Turkeglu) and they have one of the most dominant players in the paint. (Howard) Just last night the Magic had a combined 18 made 3-pointers in one game! If they keep this up they could be a good playoff contender and right now they are 1st in the SouthWest division!
