how to learn english well

I am a chinese people.I lived in shanghai of china.
I am 27 years old.This is my first discussion on mylot.
Many times I ask myself.Why do you want to learn english well?What's your goal?What do you want?Of course,English is very important to find good job.But I think the key why I want to study English is to communicate with other peoples who are from the different country.Yes,the communication.
Communication is the basic skill.Although my english level is poor.But I never give up.I have studied english for twenty years.So you maybe think I am stupid.I don't think so about this.I think I just not find the correct way.I am not good at writting,spoken,listening.But I still study.No matter when and where,I study.
At the last: The sun rises up in the east and goes down in the west everyday,the man should constantly strive to be stronger.

I fully understand what you are expressing in your discussion so this shows that you could use English language as a tool for communication. Keep it up, my friend. You have a good knowledge about yourself. Don't you think there is nothing impossible in our lives when we work hard with all our might. You can Improve your English. Keep talking and writing in English. We are not stupids. When we get the oppurtunity we will shine. Good Edison.

I think I can hold on writting in english.but it's difficult to me to keep talking .
the problem is talking with whom.
I have few friends who are speaking english.

Hi Edison,
Of course, reading is the one area you in how to learn english well, but this is something you can learn on your own quite effectively,keep a dictionary with you so that you can look up unfamiliar words. then you can write these words down in a notebook and use themin a convesation so that when you try to use them again, they will come to you much more easily. reading newspapers, magazines and books all help you to learn english well.
