I cannot believe how many actual witnesses their were to and immediately afterward. I also cannot believe that it took 10 years to get to this, why? I have read that a taxi with an american in it, drove right by it immediately after it happened and their is a picture of that! I cannot believe people did not immediately stop to help. They talk also about how long it took to get her to the hospital and how long was spent on scene, they talk about how the americans scoop and run, but really have no mention of what we paramedics do while we are scooping and running. Since we have advanced life support capabilities, we do mostly everything enroute to the hospital! They had a doctor on board, and he chose to sit on scene for well over an hour and this after she had a cardiac arrest in which they revived her, I just cannot believe what I am reading....it really saddens me. I will keep you updated as I read, so far, some people have seen a small white car, and the mercedes had a scrape of white paint on it, others saw several motorcycles, others saw no motorcycles, others saw one motorcycle, others saw several cars beside the mercedes before it entered the tunnel. One american that was at the scene saw one motorcycle, someone from paris saw one motorcycle come out of the smoke and take off. Well thats the gist of it so far. But it is a shame as peoples memories of the events they cannot recall after 10 years.

Also, I remember hearing back then about the number of paparazzi who were there, not helping but I guess perhaps blocking the paramedics & police access to the car / victims. That, I thought, was sad, couldn't the paparazzi been helpful to the victims by not obstructing the police & paramedics, giving them all the space that they needed?

actually according to witness testimony on the transcripts im reading, it took about 10-15 minutes for the police and paramedics to arrive. The american witness says immediately after the accident she tried to stop traffic from going into the tunnel. Then a scooter type motorcycle she says drove right past her with a vengence she says like he already knew what happened. Lots of popz were there taking pictures. The one person who did help says he came from his apartment down to the scene, he was formerly a dentist. He helped the bodyguard, never knew Princess Diana was in the back seat, then got into an arguement with the popz to stop them from taking pictures. He also said he wouldnt let people near the car as they had no medical training and it being such a bad accident they could cause more harm than good moving them.
Now I am quite curious as to why the driver Henry Paul was going outside so much, he is seen talking to the popz on a few occasions, then when the Princess and Dodi are leaving through the back exit. He waves to the popz. That to me is very suspicious. Oh and Dodi had bought 2 rings that day, one of which was an engagement ring, I have not read the jewlers testimony yet, but that is on a reciept for the purchase and the jewelry store had a press agent there.
I must admit, some of this seems suspicious, and as far as Diana being alive today, absolutely i think she could have been, she did not arrive to the hospital for 2 hours after the accident. She was critical and the doctor on the ambulance should have known he should have gotten her there quickly as he could not do x rays to see why her BP was dropping so rapidly. I mean obviously, there had to be a bleed somewhere! I am a Paramedic and this is very suspicous to me!

& oh yea, I was also thinkin the paparazzi could have helped by not taking photographs and calling the ambulance, and police and getting items like blankets, water, hot drinks or whatever else the paramedics & police might have needed (it's what I would have done) and also they could have stopped and prayed / lead a group in prayer for the victims / survivors to have the strength to recuperate and for everything to work out well, etc.

Wow, I never read any of that before! Then again, I just thought the whole accident was an accident. At the time, I was too busy with school and all of that to really pay attention to world events lol. There were things going on in the news at that time that I just found out happened when I took my World History course! That went up to the year 2000-2003 I think.
