for me , i really don't know, it doesn't matter where you new him , what matter is the love you have for each other the magic of love you have . mybe if you knew each other through net am also sure that you could be together , it is just an introduction or getting to know each other. But still we must be careful to know people in the net.

you should still be very careful with who you deal in the internet. there are cases of rape and pedophilism. there are many people out there who claim to be sheep but are foxes or wolves indeed.

I guess, the thing still is you have to be careful if its for real or not. There was an incident in myspace where a teenager killed herself because she got so attached with someone from the net and it turned out to be a scam -- someone pretended to be a guy, and that's all. :)
