for boys,i think it is not necessary, for the most important thing in their life is not beauty, they have a lot of things to supply a gap,but for a girl, but if you are not a girl, you can not imagine how hard for a girl who have not a good appearance to have a good job,or have a equal situation!how painful they are!

Beauty lies in its essence. It is in the eye of the beholders. But, due to the changing world, we have known that beauty is something that is perfect - perfect smile, face, body, physique and lifestyle. But it always lies in our mind. It is us who have created the essence of beauty. And no wonder why we look for ways and means to transform ourselves into more beautiful creatures of the world. We forgot that beauty is not more of physical but real beauty comes from inner self. Perhaps people would want to undergo multiple plastic surgeries because they just want to be "IN" - to be beautiful in the eyes of the other human beings. It is more of being one of them.

Nowadays with the technology we do have I think we are able to buy beauty according to your standards. With regards to neccessity well it depends maybe on how you use your beauty. For models, artist who uses her beauty to earnt heir living it may become a neccessity but for the rest of us who doe not use it to earn then it may not be a neccessity or something. For me its not a neccessity since I don't use it to earn a living or it doesn't make me anything less than them.

Hi, Those beauties both materialistic and non materialistic hope the true beauty cannot be brought it is free of any cost it do not have any price. The beauty to get true love. May be the physical beauty can be brought but the inner beauty that is not seen is yet too difficult to be priced. Beauty of truth is not priced as truth has no cost it gives importance to justice and peace.

Absolutely not. Beauty lives inside each of us; some are better at showing it than others but we all possess it. All the money in the world cannot change your core person. External beauty is only temporary, internal beauty can last eternally.

Everybody wishes to be beautiful or handsome. And let face it, most people if not all, to a certain degree judge others by appearance. I am not sure about better career prospects but to a certain degree, i concur that beauty do give confidence and defintely a better chances of finding BF or GF. I do not have a very wide social circle but personally friends who are beautiful do get attached easier. (Let please do not talk about subtainability of the relationship) However, I defintely will not go for plastic surgery. Disclaimer first. I have nothing aaginst people who opted for plastic surgery. I think it is human's nature to be vain. But I too believe what is meant to be yours is yours. But not meant to be is just too bad. If I not born pretty... too bad... I will just live with it. Plus the consideration of risk and implication of plastic surgery, chances is I will not go for it.

i dont think beauty can be bought. it can be enhanced though. in a world that is reigned by and obsessed with standards including beauty, we can't get away with the conformity that this world demands from us, or else we risk of getting excluded or marginalized. it is unfortunate that the force to conform is very strong. of course, it is not a necessity. we can live without it. but since it is available and there is a strong need to conform with the concept of what constitutes beauty, some people do it.

Well, as far as I can see there's no need for me to take plastic surgery. And yes I heard from my Korean friend that plastic surgery is common there. We have to admit that what a plastic surgeon can do is amazing. I saw this show Nip/ Tuck and I'm into that show! Anyways, if people wanna take plastic surgery it's their choice! Although some may think that they are pathetic. They have the right to make themselves better looking if they are not born beautiful.
