Tiger as pet

I LOVE tigers! They are so adorable! My mother gave me a Bengal Tiger Cat for my college graduation. She is a domestic cat and actually look like a mix between a leopard and a tiger. There is also a new breed out west called a Toyger. My response would probably be a scream of shock at first, though. Then my mind would race to think of how I could make this work! lol

A definite "No". In fact, to all kinds of animals. Keeping a pet is such a big responsibility. I do not think I have the time nor energy to care for a pet. And if we are talking about a tiger, the more it needs special care.

hi varun! ^__^ if its a tiger cub, i will accept it and say thank you. if its a big tiger, i'll probably be scared but still say thanks and then suggest to bring it to the zoo. ^__^;;

I would refuse because first I do not have a permit and second even if I did have a permit, I do not have the ability to take care of such a responsibility as a large cat like a tiger. (I have had coyotes and antelope as pets as a kid). Besides a tiger is never tame but rather they can be trained and they can turn on the owners/care givers. There are too many wild animals that are being kept as "pets" that should be put in zoos or let go into the wild. My suggestion is if anyone want to give you a "pet" of a wild animals and you do not have the experience plus any permits/licences then try to convince whoever has it to turn it over to a zoo or the fish and game department so that it can be taken care of properly.

No. I will never accept such type of dangerous gift. I will say no, thank you. And I will gift some one a cat, as the cat is said aunty of the lion and tiger. I will ask the some that he or she should gift it to my mother in law. She has much meat to feed a tiger.

i wud nt like to keep tiger as a pet bcoz i only want cute ones like rabbit,cat & birds as my pets !!!
