Has anyone watched Enchanted? I enjoy it tremendously=D

Hello there. I just watched the Disney movie Enchanted in the theaters on Saturday. It was much better than my expectations. It's definitely not Oscar-worthy but it's very entertaining. The concept is very smart. This movie actually combines 'fairy tale world' and the 'real world'.
For those of you who enjoys fairy tale movies and cartoons, I think you will enjoy the show as much as I do.=D

NO! There's no roger federer. The Prince is the guy who acted as Cyclops in X-Men. Remember?? =P
Enchanted follows the beautiful princess Giselle (Amy Adams) as she is banished by an evil queen (Susan Sarandon) from her magical, musical animated land and finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern-day New York City. Shocked by this strange new environment that doesn't operate on a 'happily ever after' basis, Giselle is now adrift in a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment. But when Giselle begins to fall in love with a charmingly flawed divorce lawyer (Patrick Dempsey) who has come to her aid - even though she is already promised to a perfect fairy tale prince (James Marsden) back home - she has to wonder: can a storybook view of romance survive in the real world?
This is a brief summary of the story. =D

Hmm... I wanted to watch it with my wife since the trailer was first shown a while back.
But the schedule for the last two months were horrible!
I barely even have time to watch TV, let alone go to the movies.
So, poohgal, on a rating of 1 to 10, 10 being the best, how much will you give for this movie?Now that my relatives are here, I don't know if I can make it for the movie or not. Guess the worst case scenario is to get the DVD when it is released.

wow... I so have to get this movie to watch.
I hope they still have it for rental in the neighborhood store!
I am still busy as ever! I do hope the coming holidays will be a welcome break.
But looking at things, I doubt so. So many relatives to visit. So many activities to fulfill. This is going to be the busiest Chinese New Year in my entire life!

I would give it 8.5. =D
I love Disney movies especially the older ones like Beauty and the Beast and the newer ones like Finding Nemo so my rating may be kind of bias. This movie has nice songs. Both Amy Adams and James Marsden sang very well. Amy Adams sounds really like a Princess. =) This movie is also very funny. It's good humor. Kun2349 enjoys it too (read above posting). =P

i loved the movie, i think that its a good one for children and parents over the christmas holiday. a traditional disney movie, brought upto date. im an old romantic at heart, so i loved every minute of it. esspecially the little chipmunk, he was well cute

No I haven't and I don't think I am going to watch it.
I just caught that zombie flick last week. 30 days of night or something like that.
I don't particularly fancy the movie genre Enchanted is in. I have watched quite a few shows in this genre but it is not my first choice.
The one thing I feel weird about the movie is the male lead. The movie synopsis talks about the princess falling in love with a "handsome lawyer". I cannot for the mind of me how someone like him can be considered handsome. I just feel a bit grossed out lol.
The princess is ok though.:P

LOL Different people like different types of movies. Enchanted and all other Disney movies are my type of movies. =P
I am more into G movies. Some PG movies are getting too violent and vulgar for me la..
As for the lawyer ah... Hmm.. mai hium buay pai.. He is quite charismatic.. I like the Prince better.. He is so cute and he loves to... Sing.. in the movie..

no, i haven't seen it yet. i think it looks like it would be a cute movie though. maybe i'll check it out someday. although probably not until it's out on dvd. i don't often go out to the movies.
