We Own The Night Film

I was excited to see the film, We Own the Night, but when it was over I was disappointed. The movie featured two of my favorite actors Joaquin Phoenix, and Mark Wahlberg. Robert Duvall was excellent as usual, but the plot was thin. The boys are supposed tobe on the oppsite sides o the law, Phoenix the bad boy, and Wahlberg the good son who followed in his father's footsteeps. The problem is the bad boy turns good too soon he agrees to help the police investigation and goes into protective custody. Sadly he loses his father and his girl (she doesn't die but leaves him). I honeslty can't remember the end of the film so no spoiler.
