Childrens Cartoons, Too violent???

Is Cartoon violence Right? - Is a baby pointing a gun at a rabbit going to affect children? Turn them into animal abusers? Is this funny? What is this?

Childrens cartoons have turned very violent this past decade. With constant battles of the sexes, and crazy sadistic punishment. Is this turning our younger generation into crazy sadistic cartoon followers? Is all the violence necessary? Young children are very affected by tv, so do they need further egging on by violent cartoons? Is it funny? Is it right? What do you think?

Yes I think there is way too much violence in cartoons and on TV in general, I think even the innocent type violence in The Simpsons sends bad messengers, I see so many kids imitating Bart Simpson I don't think it is very funny, that show says it is cool to be dishonest, rude, and annoying...
