While sneezing, you should cover the mouth. It’s manner. However, there is another reason behind it also. You can easily catch a cold from someone sneezing or coughing without covering the mouth. Is it true?

ya i completely agree with you ronimas.its not just a manner but also a precaution that we should follow strictly.and its recommended that we should use a separate handkerchief or a towel or a piece of cloth especially for this purpose.because when we sneeze the germs come out from our nose and mouth.they may not go into the air but they do stick to our hands untill and unless we have washed them properly.and from our hands they will spread to other areas.but if we use cloths they can easily rest in it and won't spread anywhere.

Hi,
I too agree that while squeezing one should cover the mouth. But this hygienic side is either given from home or school for the children. Not only that to remind this as in the case "No Smoking" a banner like "Cover while squeezing" may also be helpful to remind. Any it is obvious those germs are spread in the air like a small chemical bomb that effects others as a viral infection on those who are not healthy and has less resistance. This may also lead to formation of other viral infections and diseases. So to have a healthy life hope cover the mouth while squeezing.

It's called germs. Say you sneeze and you don't cover your mouth, the germs go everywhere. However, say you sneeze and you cover your mouth. The germs are contained in your hand, but then you touch a phone or a keyboard or a door or someone else's hands and voila the germs have spread.

Yes, it is true. Germs are spread through the air, so when a person coughs or sneezes, the germs go into the air and other people breathe them in, and are likely to get sick. Also a good idea to wash hands often, as germs are also spread by touching contaminated surfaces, then touching your eyes, nose or mouth.

yes, it is. when you sneeze germs are leaving your body via your mouth and, if you don't cover your mouth, they are flying, fast, throughout the room that you're in. those germs are then easily picked up by others because they are everywhere. in the air, on doors, tables, everything.
