dear s...rabbits, tend like other pets, to bond with you through food. what would help you is that every time you pick up and hold your dwarf rabbit at least in the beginning you have some little treats to give it when you hold it...this way the rabbit will associate being held by you, as a GOOD thing, because there's a food reward involved in it...prepackaged rabbit treats can be purchased at the store, or you can give rabbit small bites of apple, dried pineapple, carrots, etc...they sell little yougurt treats that they love, and they have dried tropical fruit treats that they really like too...stanzi

We have raised show rabbits for 20 years. Althoughat times we have more than we have the time to spend "quality time" with, I try to touch everyone everyday. Get them out, hold them. There have been the ones that will flip out and scratch, but with continued contact, they will trust you. If it is a bunny now, continue with this. Hold it everyday, even if it's only for 5-10 minutes. They wil come around.

I will be honest I don't know a lot about rabbits but I would think they just need a lot of time spent with them, the more time you spend I guess the more they will trust you, especially if it is just a bunny, they have to feel safe with you....
