Hikaru no Go, have you watched this anime?

i do not know of hikaru on the go, but I used to watch this animae called Angelic layer, and the girls andgel doll was named Hikaru...=) Just thought that I would share that with you.

i prefer hikaru than touya. It's rare for me to like main character. I usually prefer 2nd main character in most manga/anime.

hello deepseadolphin - channn i have watch its manga several times and watch its anime just once but still i impressed with the storyline because storyline so great that i can't help but too read again and watch again ......... i like when touya akira and shindo hikaru played a match and this anime bring us some knowledge about igo .......... i love hikaru no go's music because all of them sound great to me .... like Get Over, etc

I love Hikaru no Go. And lol Go isn't chess xP. I love Touya and Hikaru. I find Akari annoying (lol). I've read fanfics based on this anime yes. Mm. Some fanfic writers are pretty good but I haven't had much to read from. . .I haven't read enough HnG fanfics that makes one stand out from the others. . .No I would not because I like Hikaru more lol (Akari is his gf? They never mentioned that in the anime. .I thoguht they were just best friends. . .didn't see this anime having any sort of romance. .I haven't read the manga though). This anime made me cry when Sai had to leave. And I fell in love with the music the first time I heard it. ;)

I haven't watched the anime (yet) but I've read the entire manga (yay for onemanga.com!) and it is AMAZING. I didn't think that I would ever like a story about a board game but it was soooo addicting. I loved the characters (well most :P haha) Sai was so cute ^_^

i saw few episodes, its about a japanese chess i think thats why its called "GO" Akira amd Hikaru are great in this anime, and the spirit who help hikaru in his games. though i havent finished watching this anime

I read the manga before but have not seen the anime yet. It is about professional chess players by the way.

hi, i have finish the whole of hikaru no go. but it only released up till the special on the hokuto cup qualifier. i really hope they can finish the anime like the manga as i read the manga as well and the hokuto cup was really very exciting. especially the words hikaru said after he lost to the korean player. " to link the far past from the far future". OMG!!! it rawks man... Btw.. the music of the anime rawks too.. something when the episode get quite sad and the ending song start to play, it get me quite emotional as well. If you more information if they are going to release more newer hikaru no go anime, please contact me...

I think you're mistaken, Go is not Chess, nor is it Chinese Chess. Aside from being board games, they have little in common. Hikaru no Go simply means "Hikaru's Go." Yes, I've watched the anime and read some of the manga. My favourite character is Sai... he's so passionate (about Go) yet amusing at the same time. I'm not a huge fan that writes/reads fanfiction but but it did interest me to start playing Go. At first, I didn't think the anime would be that interesting but I really like the way the author dramatizes the Go matches to keep your interest. Also, it was easy to understand the matches of such a complex game even for beginners. And yes, the music is awesome.
