Some of you have Myspace but who got you there in the 1st place? For me, it was one of my own friends from High School who had it. I ended up talking to him on AIM and I saw his profile and it really had been a blessing because now I found not only friends from High School but also family members I haven't seen in years.
I found Cousins mainly and a couple Aunts. It's been to me a good tool for that. If nothing else, that's what I think the purpose of it was for. Who referred you to Myspace and were you able to find any friends you haven't either seen in years or relatives as well?
I think it does serve well. Only thing I'm trying to do next is build a strong network. Once in a while I see classified ads out there that might be interesting. Whether or not, you get the job is another story. But that's just me.

You're from Ohio? So am I. Thanks for your response. I agree there. That's one thing I like about technology. It's made it much easier to keep contact. I got family members in other parts of the Nation and it has been a great tool to help me keep contact.

There was a girl that I saw on another website that I'm a member of that had a link to her MySpace account. I wanted to look at her pictures, but it said that I had to be a member first, I've been a member ever since then and made everyone that I know join it too.

That's interesting. It's always interesting to learn how people find it in the 1st place. How often do you check it? Me, I check whenever possible and also to see if I got any new comments on my page. That's about all I do anymore.

My two daughters have been on Myspace for awhile now. They got me into it. I have found people I went to school with. People who share the same interests as me. I'm able to talk to my sister who, because she lives in another state, I haven't talked to for awhile.

My sister first got me into mysapce. Since then I have found several friends from high school, long "lost" family members and even people that I used to work with. I don't go on as often as I used to when I first signes up but I still sheck in a couple times a week.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I'm just on for a second and that's about it. I'm usually not on it for very long. I just browse and that's about it. Just to see if I got anything new. Thanks for the response by the way. I haven't been due to other things happening like some extra work.

one of my friends i was talking to online, she had moved to south carolina a few years before, told me about it. this was back in 2003, when it was VERY new. there were only a few hundred people. now everyone seems to have a myspace. but it's great. a great way for networking and finding old friends.

Oh wow. I agree right there. It's good to help you find some new friends. Anything that can help you find some your old classmates or anything like that is a major plus in my book. Thanks for the response.
