Did anybody buy this yet? I know it's on the DS and I'm curious on if it is any good. I've played almost every Zelda game and for that matter own them but the infamous CD-i games (Don't own that system and probably won't due to not enough appeal for me) and the 4 Swords Adventure for the Gamecube. This is one I was anticipating because it's a new Zelda game and I'm curious what else will happen next.
This is the direct sequel from what I understand to The Wind Waker (I own that). That touch screen I guess is used a lot for it. Sounds like an innovation and some new way to play it.
For those who have actually played it, did you enjoy it or was it a waste of time? I'm probably going to get it but I'm curious on the response on whether or not anyone played it themselves.
I don't know why but I got this thing where I almost gotta get every Zelda game for Nintendo because honestly it's one of those things. If I can get that one, it'd be fine. Any thoughts?

i have the game. and yes, the touch screen needs getting used to. i just wish they added features wherein the user/gamer has the option to use the stylus or the normal controls.
it's a nice game. i still haven't finished it yet though :D

I'm sorry I can't answer your question, but hopefully my response will help you get one...I just wanted to say that I have been wondering the same thing myself. My brother loves Zelda and usually gets every game in the series but he hasn't got this one yet because the touch screen is so different for on thing. Like you, he said he will probably get it anyway eventually but I have been hoping to read reviews from players if I can. I may get it for him as his Christmas present but I want him to really enjoy it...

i have played this on my Nintendo DS and it's one of the best games on said console. controls are very innovative especially the way you make markings on the map. and graphics is quite impressive even by Nintendo DS standards.
you won't regret buying this game. my only qualm is that I still have yet to finish it because someone bought my Nintendo DS when I was about half-way into game. but im saving up again to buy myself the new Nintendo DS Lite.
Cheers

I say get it.
It ranks right behind Mario Kart DS for me.
Touch screen does take getting used to, but is very fun to use.
Drawing on the map is fun too.
The entire game can be played on the touch screen which I think is great. That's what the DS was meant to do, and not many games have really utilized it the way Phantom Hourglass has.
