I see on Oxygen, Lifetime and the Hallmark Channel they are starting to run all the holiday made for TV movies. I admit I am a sucker for these. One of my favorites is "Ebbie" starring Susan Lucci. There's also one called "A Holiday Affair" thatI like. Most are corny, I guess. Back when I was a kid my favorite was "The House Without a Christmas Tree" starring Jason Robards. It was on CBS every December on a Saturday afternoon.
So what are your favorite made for TV Christmas movies?

I like Ebbie, too. But, my favorite is the tv version of A Christmas Carol with Patrick Stewart as Scrooge. I also love How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The original animated version.

Well I'm torn between two as being my favorite made for TV Christmas Movies.
The first is "The Littlest Angel" with Johnny Whitaker, yes made a long time ago but it's still great. I haven't seen it on in a while but I do know it's out on DVD. I'd like to get it sometime and see it again to see how it compares. It's a tear jerker movie but very good if you ever get the chance to see it.
The other is "An American Christmas Carol" with Henry Winkler. He did a fantastic job in this role. The whole movie is fantastic. I have it now on DVD and really enjoy watching it this time of year. It's one of the best remakes of "A Christmas Carol" I've ever seen.

I'm not sure if there is such a good thing as a good "made for TV" Christmas movie. Not that they aren't good but I don't know a lot of them are bad. I can't even think of the last one that was actually really good. Though I heard that Shrek The Halls is coming on on Wednesday night. I'm curious to watch this, I think it'll be cute.
