lending money?

I am not yet able to do that. I already let others borrow small amount of money from me. And I also experienced of not being paid. But it is okay. As long as I was able to help the person. It is enough for me. I am no longer expecting a payment for that.

I'm happy to say it has never happened to me with huge sums of money but I've had people forget such small amounts that it's ridiculous. I have had an ex boyfriend and a friend lend considerable amounts and not see it back and sometimes worse the people turn their backs to them. I owe a friend quite a big amount to me, however I've been paying him back even though little at a time when I can.

never, but in our family we already experience that since my sister has a "big heart and i hate to say a bit stupid" that she always lend her money even to people she barely knew. in the end she always loose all since those damn people hide from her.

Never i have lend a huge sum to anyone as of now..But have seen my family members lending money and later struggle with the lender to get back the money..sometimes they get as promised, sometimes with a long delay and some never returned..I always take proper caution to whom iam lending even though is its a small sum.. Moreover a person who borrowed such a huge amount can never forget..may be he can act like forgetting deliberately to cheat without paying the sum.In case if we decide to lend money in large sum we should get some acknowledgement for the money lend or ask some surety as security as this may urge the borrower to repay in time and be alert because of legal problems and settle the debt accordingly.

Well,I think it is very common thing for a lender.I faced this types of problem.When the lender wants the money that time the preson will show how needy the person is but when the time comes to return back then the person will forgot or won't knock any more.

Hi rouwel! I did a couple of times. Some I have reminded and not really let them forget. haha..And to one friend who borrowed a large amount have forgotten all about it no matter how i try to make subtle hints about it, she can't seem to remember. That is frustrating somehow but i always pray that they will be cured with amnesia and one day they will be knocking at my door and give me what they owe me. Yeah a few times. If I don't get paid by them as promised. I just stop letting them borrow any money. Some people just like to take advantage of others that is for sure.
