I take time out from that person and calm down..then stay a distance for a while. I think over if the relationship is working for me or not. -Is it worth going further with? If the person seems to enjoy making me respond with anger, I cut them out. If they like making life a roller coaster....I decide it is time to move on and I have outgrown them. But if they are a good friend and this was rare..then I calm down and talk it over with them and we compromise and do fine. (What can I say? Sometimes you just grow up and outgrow a friend?)
You can't keep every friend you make forever.

I usually stay pretty calm, but if I get really ticked off, I yell. If it's at my husband, I sometimes cuss & scream. But not usually. Most of the time I can handle things calmly, but a few things really light my fire. And being bipolar (and probably schizophrenic) does not help at all. Although it does give me an excuse when I say I'm sorry later. ;)

At first I don't really do anything, I actually just get quiet, but after I chave ignored so much, it all builds up and I usually yell and scream at the person, unless it was something so bad that it caused an immediate negative reaction.
