I'm just curious to see what everyone's favorite breed of dog is and why. Do you currently own your favorite breed, or have you ever? I know a lot of people are partial to certain breeds, but don't own any. Just curious!!

I love labradors. My yellow lab Xena is 8 years old and she is adorable. I always wanted to get her a furry friend to play with so 2 months ago, I got fox fur lab puppy. She is a little fireball. Her name is Ginger and she's just over 4 months old. They are sweet, intelligent, funny, and very loving.

I love labs, too. They really are very smart, like you said about yours. I've never heard of a fox fur lab before though, what is that? I'm sure she's adorable. ;o)

Not sure, so I looked up sites and saw fox fur as the description for the redheads. I know they also came up with silver labs supposedly mixed with weims to get that gray color.
According to Ginger's papers, the sire is chocolate, and the female is supposedly yelllow. Here is a pic of Ginger. She's a cutie. She is 7 weeks older now and her chest is redder, but she has the yellow swirls on her backside, lol.

Oh she's sooo cute! I think I've seen a few labs that color before, but probably always thought they were some sort of mixed breed! She's adorable though. I've heard of silver labs before, but sometimes even hear people referring to them as chocolate labs with blue eyes LOL. I think it's kind of silly to breed dogs just to get a specific eye color though...oh well. She's very cute, and I'm sure she's getting huge!

I just love Pit Bulls. I have a male brindle now and he is so goofy. I think they are a misunderstood breed. Also it doesn't help with the way they are treated by some people. My Pit Bull lives in the house with our family and a Chihuahua.

Me too! They're definitely my favorite as well, and my profile picture is actually my 6 month old son and Gibson, our 9 month old Pit Bull/Boxer mix. He's a little brindle boy, too, with white on his chest and some of his toes, and he's just the sweetest, and dumbest, dog I've ever had! LOL He really isn't too bright...but he's a good boy, and he's great with the baby!

I love labrador retrievers, golden retrievers, huskies, German shepherds, Scottish shepherds, and cocker spaniels. I once had a German shepherd and I now own a cocker spaniel. I love all types of dogs. =)

I like almost all of them too! I wouldn't necessarily own all of them for various reasons, and of course, I'm partial to Pit Bulls as I'm sure you guys can tell LOL I just think it's interesting sometimes when someone talks about really loving a particular breed, but then they own something really really different from it. Thanks for your response!
