Hhhmm, sadly our puppy was poisoned when she was 18 months old. By our landlady of the time. We'd had her for over a year, and then the other....ok, not appropriate to put the rest of that here!

That's ok. I did think of baking the puppy and feeding it to her, but the murder charge would have been interesting trying to explain! i also decided that the resting place for my puppy would be a nice one, over looking the valley! Yeah, better for all! lol.

My dog is going on 11 in December. He's a mix Gloden retriever/Black Lab mix, but he acts as young as ever.

I named my female dog "beauty" because of her unique characteristics. She was 18 years old when we lost her last December 2006. She had not returned to us when one night she went out from our house. We only learned that many of our neighbors had lost their dogs too last December.
Beauty was an intelligent dog and you can see her how she trained her puppies, it's wonderful....!
Today, her male grandpuppy has taken her looks and I named him "booty". Booty is now showing his intelligence by responding wisely our instructions to him.

The puppies of my Beauty were distributed to the members of my family and relatives. Her grandpuppy is with my married son, three blocks away from us.
Today, I don't have a dog anymore. I just visit the puppies of Beauty in their new owner when I happened to be there.

My dog is 11 years old and acts like my grandfather. He just sleeps all day and can't be bothered moving. He still acts like a little puppy when it comes to food though!! : )

My dog is now 15 years old! she is a gorgeous cocker spaniel! used to be so lively now she sleeps most of the day, although when she's in the mood she'll still have a puppy-like play! she's so cute!

We have two dogs and five cats and we love them all for the unique personalities they all have. In regard to our dog's age Tasha our female lab/shepherd cross is going to be 16 in June of 2008. She is an amazing dog and even though her hind quarters are weak she just keeps on keeping on.
Cherokee is our male dog and a husky/shepherd cross and around 8 years old. With seven animals my hubs and I have each other and we are all a big happy family with lots of furry friends. No kids...just lots of pets!Fun topic always great to share stories about our pets and why we love them.
Cheers,
Raia

I have a cocker spaniel and he just turned 1 year old. I brought him home when he was 4 months old. I taught him a lot of tricks and he can understand a lot of words and phrases, too. I can't imagine life without him. But I know that dogs can only live up to 15 years or a little more. Just thinking about that makes me really really sad. I guess I have to cherish every moment I have with him, and when that day comes, it'll be the saddest day of my life.
