For letting me be ungrateful so that I can appreciate opportunity when it comes.
For letting me experience sadness, now I can understand how to appreciate being happy.
For letting me be a coward because now I know how to be courageous.
For letting me be ignorant so now I can understand wisdom.
For letting me hate so that I can understand love.
For letting me fall so that I can learn to stand firmer the next time.
For not answering some of my prayers because you knew better.
For loving me enough to let me figure out how to grow at my own pace.
For always having the right person/thing come into my life when I needed it the most.
For laying beside me at night and holding me when I cry.
For forgiving me when I forget to be thankful for all you give me.
For creating me and this beautiful world and all that it contains.
For the chance to learn to be one with all that is.
Sometimes we forget to say thank you.
Life is too busy.
Just a friendly reminder.

Hey Hoghoney, This I thoroughly enjoyed. I think that this would go perfect on a plaque. Maybe even be printed out and put in a photo frame for a sweet saying. It is hard to forget the bad tings when all is going good and we start taking things for granted and then our world falls out from under our feet and then we learn a lesson that teaches us wisdom and that all things made, given or taken easily is not always best for us. So don't always take the easy road because it is the most traveled because the road least traveled will reveal the most surprises..Hugs.

oopsIt is easy to forget the bad things,when things are going well. Sorry, my brain is faster then my fingers and so sometimes I accidently type a word I am thinking at the time..Happy Holildays!

i think this is especially true of parents!
it's a totally thankless job to be a parent i feel. but this is something that reminds us to be thankful.
and to forgive when others are not appreciative of us since we ourselves tend to forget.
