Hi toteles. For GREEN TEA - The leaves are plucked then rushed to the processing plant where they are steamed or pan-fired immediately to prevent them from fermenting. Unfermented leaves contain large amounts of catechins(CAT-i-kins), which are powerful disease fighters a potent antioxidants. For RED TEA - The leaves are picked then purposely crushed and left to wither for a day or two to encourage fermentation. This changes the catechins into substances called thearubigens and theaflavins, which have some health benefits but not nearly as many as the catechins. Happy Postings and Earnings. HAPPY DAPPY.

Hello toteles. I am sorry to say that the only difference that I could tell between black tea and green tea is the color of the water when tea is made.

Hello toteles, I am not too sure about the difference as I don't like to drink both. As far as I know, green tea is lightly oxidized. Red tea is also known as Roibos tea which comes from South African herb and caffeine-free.
