About your location on mylot...

There's a location in every user's profile. Is it automatically added by mylot or did you type it yourself when you registered? I don't remember giving any information on location when registing. But it is just there! With someone's profile, there's just the name of a country; with others, there's a name of a city above the name of a country. So what makes the difference? Is the location based on you IP address when you signed up? Will it change when you change your actual location? Just a bit confused....

You give your location in order to be able to receive payment. If you don't want it shown, you can change that in your preferences.
