Do you have any special tips for getting fleas off your cats? And, how do you keep them from becoming an infestation?
Tonight, the new kitten jumped up on the bed and cuddled up next to me. And, as I was rubbing her neck, I felt a little bump. At first, I thought it was just matted hair, but then realized that she had a flea. So, I had to get the flea off of her. Otherwise it would just jump off onto me. And, I'm really allergic to flea bites.
I'm not sure how she could have fleas. We don't have carpets in the house, so I don't know where they could be living. Maybe there are fleas in the yard. Now, I'll need to check all the cats for fleas. How often do you find fleas on your cats? And, what do you when you find them?

Oh, I wish that my cats would sit still long enough for me to put flea collars on them. My big cat used to wear a collar when he was a cat, but kept taking it off. And, then when the female came along, he showed her how to take off her collar. And the collar got stuck in her mouth, so that her mouth couldn't close. It was very sad. She is alright now. Thankfully! Thanks for dropping by. Always nice to chat with you.

I examine the cats where they keep scratching themselves and that's when I find a few fleas. But ever since I applied a flea killer that was prescribed by my vet every month, my three cats hardly ever scratch! That flea killer not only eliminates fleas, but flea eggs and dirt.
Also, brushing the cats helps to eliminate problems.

I wish that I knew the name of the product you are using. My kitten is notorious for picking up stray fleas.

Take them to the vet for a flea bath, that's the best way to get the parasites off.

My cat's an outdoor cat, but I have never found fleas on him. I would suggest a flea color, combing her or talking to a vet.
