When you get a cold, what would you choose to use in order to alleviate the symptoms?
I like codral. I find it works so well, Dries me up and gives me the energy to get through the day!

For nearly 30 years I just use lemons and hot water and hot peppermints. Never used medicines for colds - don't really need a doctor or chemist or similar. Then just rest up in bed...

Yeah, Lemon and hot water are fantastic, I like doing that too! maybe with a bit of honey!
I have never heard of using hot peppermints! How do they help with a cold or flu!
I like using herbal teas along with vitamin C and zinc too!

Personally, there is not an over the counter medicine that will work for me. When I have a cold or flu, I tend to head straight to my doctor and request a sinus cocktail shot. I know that most wouldn't do this for a cold, but 100% of my colds end up becoming a sinus infection within a day or two. Second, I always ask for either zyrtex or allegra and a cough syrup.

In fact I don't have medicine when I get a cold...
I still remember that once our teacher told us the survey shows it will take you five day to recover if you have some medicine. While if you don't have medicine, it will take you a week to recover... Just all the same, so medicine is not needed...
Well.I don't know whether it is true. But for me, a cup of hot and sweet water is Ok.
