How do you Choose What To Write?

I am new here (will soon have been here 24 hours). I look around and I see a combination of qualities. Some people seem to really have other something to say, others seem to be putting completely random and not so good posts up so that they can get the money. I am here to make some money doing something I enjoy, I will not deny that. I do enjoy commenting and writing and it because of that I want to make the most of it. How do you decide what to post on? It is easy to comment on others comments, but I have heard that starting your own will make you more money (yesterday I commented fourteen times and made 8 cents). But how do you know what to say?

Just write whatever you want to or comes to your mind. That's what most people do anyway. :P If you want more responses, then you need to put in a bit more effort. Perhaps find interesting topics, write in an enticing way and try to be original. But really, if you are just in for the money, the current state of affairs is that you need to focus on QUANTITY. Just post discussions and/or responses like mad and you will become the top earner here. PS.: Don't "spam" though as myLot will step in to delete those posts and maybe even delete your account in the worst case. Just make sure your posts remain intelligent and relevant - and if you like posting discussions, make sure you post a good number of responses to balance things. If you like posting responses, just post as many as you want - you don't need to post any discussions to balance things. :P

You can write about your favorite sports team, something newsworthy, making money online, making extra money... these threads are read and responded to quite often. Share some info that few know of and your responses to the thread will be large. Don't feel you have to respond to everything you read. If you don't have much to share on the subject, you may not get paid for an un-informative answer or response.

there are a lot of great discussions here to begin with but coming up with your own is fun too. read, read, read and watch tv news and talk shows. these areas will give you lots of fodder for here as well. happy writing!

I read the topics and what I understand I think on it for some time and see what other members wrote then decide what to write. I do not attempt to discuss which I do not understand clearly.

I think that is a good idea. I'm pretty sure if your response doesn't offer much to the thread, then MyLot won't be paying you for that response. The good part is the info that is shared here is often worth the time spent reading the threads. I've learned a lot about the money making opportunitities on the internet and have picked up some good ideas from the threads on MyLot. Learning new ideas and earning when you share soem knowledge... what a great concept!

I use to have a journal and i write many things that is happening around me.. a good writer is a good observer on whats happening behind the scenes.. Other writers just have a xerox copy of what they encounter.. but the originality of being a writer is through a message of words delivered.. I myself love to write everything that is under the sun.. i know im not good at it but it gives me more of the peaceful mind .. coz i put every emotions that i have with in the day.. then i share to friends.. i may have a plan creating a book..

I think part of my problem is that I am writing for so many resources. I just am not sure what the people here want to read about.

Hi aidenofthetower and welcome to myLot! I suggest you look in the 'interests' section and see if there is anything there that takes your fancy to comment on. Then as the days go by you will make friends here and see what they talk about and you will come along with some ideas of your own. The more you stay here the easier it will be to see what goes on and add your contribution. Once it starts becoming fun to be here then the ideas will flow like a river! Happy myLotting!

You chose what to write based on what comes to your mind.
