Well this year we did something a little different.. we had his family down from maine for tanksgiving.. usually its us an my family... each year egery year as far back as i can rember and i love that... so i was a little depressed on thanksgiving this year. It was nice sharing it with my husband and daughter though.. she was so cute running around gobbling at everyone and dsancing as cinderella singing a song about turkey day.. that would be my favorite memory of the day this year.. However my favortie part was the fact that i literlly didnt have to do anything!! WOW~! my husband did all the food preperation, cooking, boiling, basting, mashing, cutting, carving etc etc. and his mother did all the cleaning up afterwards.. for me this was well appreciated for i am 8 months pregnatn with twins. i was already having a crisis that the house was treashed with all these people crammed in our tiny apartment and everyyera i do all the cleaning up and washing aftereards.. I really appreciated that this year i didnt have to do anythiN!

Oh my gosh! I was so sick on Thanksgiving day. I had 2 of my grandchildren stay with us for a few days so the timing was really bad. I had some kind of bug or something. Nothing would stay in and I had no appetite what so ever. It will be the first Thanksgiving ever that I didnot gain weight. I am very grateful for that LOL. Most of all I am extremely grateful for my 13 year old son. He cooked the entire meal that day. It was not the traditional meal but I gave him directions as I laid sprawled out on the sofa and, he did a great job. I am so proud of him and, the look of pride on his face was priceless. I would go through being sick all over again for that. It is just the two of us normally. He even took great care of his neice and nephew. I am so very proud of him. He really is my big man. I could not have made it without him. Best Thanksgiving ever.
