Do you have kids who seem intent on driving you to an early grave?

I have two kids and my son started driving about a year ago. Now he managed a trouble free eleven months aside from the odd panic about tyres and a fulty radiator, (Dad to the rescue). But just as he was about to end his first year as a named driver on my insurance policy he seems to have transformed into a human lemming. Two crashes in twenty days have resulted in two personal injury claims and a car that resembles something that Laurel & Hardy had borrowed for the weekend. Now my daughter is asking for driving lessons, only a week after holding a party in my house whilst we were away. Where will it end? One minute they are just kids then they seem to turn into the spawn of the devil. All advice as to how to cope with a modicum of dignity would be appreciated.

For Christ's sake - be in charge ! that's it !!! Why can't you tell them what and what not to do/have , at a particular time . From the look of things, you parents have given them that freewill , probably pampering them to spoil , which is one tendency that's with mostly white folks . Most children grow up with less morals , and more decadant tendencies , in the West . ls proper that we bring up the kids in a responsible way , that's worthy of emulation .

Whoa there,a light hearted post and I get a moral tirade. Tell them what to do you say, great advice. But I plead guilty as charged to giving them freewill after all freewill is something to be encouraged as in democracy/freedom of speech etc. Nothing wrong with thinking for yourself and making your own mistakes in my book. And no not pampering to spoil and what in gods name gives you the right to bring race into this? Do you assume I am white? Is it right to stereotype on the basis of race in your family? If thats your example I will stick with my own ways, flawed as they may be.

I have 3 grown kids and their still trying to drive me to my grave. Whether it's considered early at 60 I don't know...lol...but their still trying after all these years whether they realize it or not. Advice on how to cope? hmmm....just let them grow up and learn how to deal with everything that happens while their doing it. If their the people you want them to be you've won your battle.
