I am so PO'd. Last night my boyfriend's mother called me and asked me to take a ride with her to a friends house(1 hour drive). I didnt want to but I said yes. I had to get up and get dressed as I was in my PJ's. She was supposed to pick me up a 7 pm. At 9 pm. she called and said she was on her way. She never showed up. I called and called her house and my boyfriend said that he thought she was on her way to my house. Yeah Right!.. This morning I talked to my boyfriend and asked how is mom could do something like this? He said that she didnt feel like driving all the way across town to pick me up. The nerve of her!!!!! I was only going with her because she was my mother in law and I didnt want her to drive alone. So much for trying to be nice. What should I do? I feel like telling her off? Am I wrong for feeling this way? I feel like she used me until she found someone else to ride with her. Come to find out two other people rode with her. She makes me so sick. She plays the poor me role. My boyfriend knows this also. Its that they put up with it. I dont think I can. Thats just poor manners. I dont want to have children with this man and have her break promises to them. Then It will be on. Please help?

This is a classic situation between two women in a man's life. The mother and wife (or girlfriend) not seeing eye to eye.
May I know how many times this has happen to you? If a friend or your own mother did this to you would you have reacted the same way or would you have been more forgiving?

omg!!! THAT'S horrible! I HATE waiting on people- period- let alone when they don't show up!
I had lost my license for driving and in order to get to classes and work I would have to take the bus (which might I add is very humbling). Well, every once in awhile a friend would drop me off or pick me up from here and there. Well, I had a friend OFFER to pick me up for my early class because she had an early class as well but an hour earlier than me! So, I was going to go early with her in order to get to my class.
I got up at 6am and got ready and sat there and waited.... Her class was at 7am, mine was at 8am. She never came, never came. I called her and called her. She wouldn't answer THEN when she DID answer she said she was sorry and she was on her way. By this time, I could've at least made it to the make-up class with the hour I had in between before my next class at 11am.
She still never came. She REALLY screwed me over because even in college classes we were penalized for absences. It dropped my grade- I passed with a "C" - thank god!
And somehow I STILL forgave that hooker! lol

Thats exactly my point. People think its okay to treat people any way they want. NOT! If the shoe was on the other foot, I wonder how it would be..That heffa will get hers. Its not like anyone is beating down her door to be her friend. LOL Thanks for your reply

Fairy I would not make myself avaiable for her. You are with her son not her. She will realize how good she had it when no one else wants to ride. Be patient. what comes around goes around
