Do you get over heated in the winter? Do you run your air conditioner in winter?

Most nights it's very chilly here in the South. But, that doesn't mean, I don't get over heated. Maybe it's just my metabolism trying to kick in. If I stand in a really hot kitchen, then I have to go turn on the air conditioner for awhile. Or, take a shower.
I think I'm the only person on the planet that actually runs the air conditioner in the winter. Of course, it's not really that cold where we're living, just breezy and chilly. Once it hits 40 degrees, I won't be able to run the air conditioner inside anymore.
Do you ever run the air conditioner in the winter or get over heated from house work?

I am running my air conditioner right now myself. It is like 72 C here in Florida. I am hot natured though and I also have multiple sclrosis. I think a lot of others with my illness are very hot natured.

Yeah, Florida is really great. Except for that heat thing. It's a real bear. The beaches are super nice, though. And, the sunsets are phenomenal.

I have gotten overheated from housework or cooking and then I'll go on the front porch for a minute and cool off. The one and only time I ran the air conditioner in the winter was 5 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter - it was December and my oldest was 3 at that time and my husband came home to find me in shorts and a t-shirt with the air on (meanwhile the outside temp was like 32 degrees)!! He said you're forgetting there's two other people who live here that are not pregnant and it's the middle of winter!! I gave birth two days later!!

LOL! That sounds just like me when I was pregnant. Unfortunately for me, most of my pregnancy happened during the middle of the summer. And, it was scorching hot. Most days I couldn't turn on enough air conditioners or get cool enough. I can definitely identify with your situation. I guess those heat flashes are the body's signals that something big is about to happen.

I get cold really easily I crank the heat up in the winter even when I am doing house work I have it nice and toasty in the house I could never run the air conditioner when it was cold outside. I think it is about 30 degrees outside right now and I am already freezing!
