Have you ever been out with friends and it comes times to pay the bill and they never have cash in their pocket......
I have known people who invite you out to dinner and you pick up the bill.....I was always told when you invite someone out to dinner you pick up the bill...But I have some friends who are always forgetting their money at home or they forgot to get it out of the bank....
I have gotten to the point where I won't go out with them anymore....I have been told that I was rude cause I won't go with them but I'm tired of them doing that.....If I don't go out with them then I won't be stuck with the bill all the time.
Then there are my friends who won't let me pick up the check and I get embassered when that happens....

I really love the ones who dont claim that they left their money at home, but instead conveniently go to the rest room right as they see the check coming... they generally stay in there it seems until they see you finally pull out your wallet! When I invite someone to dine out with me, it is in fact my invite to treat them, unless otherwise stated.

Hi nzinky! I have the same experience with some of my acquaintances. I always foot the bill because it takes a very long time before they can get their wallet out of their bag or their pockets. I got tired of the too and have avoided them because i really don't have the luxury to foot the bill always. It is really annoying when you were just invited and you end up paying for the food. I would not really mind if i have more than enough money and i did the inviting. And usually, even if a friend will foot the bill, i see to it that i give a fair share in paying the bill unless she/he insist that she will pay for it and the next time we eat out, i make sure that i will be the one who will foot the bill. Take care and have a nice day.
