Hi,my partner as had her child fostered because of her grandmother(long story).she also writes and recieves one letter a year+one visit a year.I think the social services are dogs.you get some good ones but there are also bad ones wich should never be aloud, you cant trust them.however as a grandmother im sure you have the right to one visit a year wich is not alot bt its at the foster parent discretion to let you see your grand child more if the visits go well.so just remember to keep your contact, eventually you can build your trust and see your grandchild more, eventually you'll be back together even if you have to wait untill he is 16 keep intouch! its because you say you recieve one letter that im sure youve also got the right to one visit. i wish you all the luck in the world, truley.a grandson needs his granny.be there for him and fight fight fight.phone the citizens advise and get legal help.send me a message if theres anything i can do for you like advising a good solicitor or anything.depends where you live.good luck. lee.
