My husband keeps on scratching his head all the time nowadays bec of dandruff

I HATE IT When he keeps on scratching his head all the time.I have tried putting oil.Using a medicinal dandruff remover too.
He has flakes on his head which irritates him and it is so ugly to see someone scratching his head all the time!
Does anybody face this trouble?How do I get over it?
