What is your opinion on online dating?

Well, I believe that there would be some people who find love even through online dating. Love has its own way. It would be sometimes on the way you least expected, but I believe taht there is magic in everything. There are people who finds their luck in extra ordinary way. So I am not against it.... but still be careful.

It depends to the people you meet. It's same as in real life. I have a friend who met her husband in the internet. They are happily married and spending time with their bundle of joy. But it can't be help when there are people who doesn't believe about it. For me it isn't impossible I think. Love comes in unexpected places in unexpected times.

I have been a member of many dating and marriage sites for a few years now,I joined as I suffer from depression and find it very hard to open a conversation with anyone untill I get to know them,and of course,how are you going to do that untill you talk. I have met many women online but so far,most are just after money,as I am not a wealthy fellow,I just let them know that if they wish to meet for coffee,I would be happy to do so. So far,no luck,but have come close. so I am going to keep trying.lol good luck to all that find what you are looking for.

There really is little difference between on-line and off-line dating. In either case you still need to get to know each other face to face before that relationship can continue. You can be friends for a long time but sooner or later you must meet if you want it to go farther. I met my last wife through one of on-line dating sites. We were about 300 miles apart. However she was in the city I intended to go back to after my contract was over. We talked both on-line and via phone. Then I came down over the weekends. Ultimately we married. It does work but you need to meet someone close. If your free to relocate the world is your ouster. But yes it does work and there are many people that would say the same thing. Only you have to be careful to really get to know them. On-line you can be anything you want to be.

I don't think it's for everyone, but I did meet a wonderful man two years ago online, and ended up moving to the state where he lives. We have been together for over 2 years and if there was ever such a thing as a soulmate, then I found mine. We both knew within a few minutes of starting to chat online with each other that we would be together. There are other success stories, but there are also a lot that try it and it doesn't work.

I joined several dating sites earlier this year and met my boyfriend on one of them back in April, so i can definitely recommend them as an easy way to meet lots of people and therefore increase your chances of meeting someone you really like. Its important to speak to them on the phone first as you can tell quite a lot about someone from the way they sound - my bf was really friendly and chatty right away so i felt really comfortable with him from the start. I always met dates just for a drink or a coffee at lunchtime so i didnt have to give up an entire evening if things didnt go too well. Hope that helps.

I have never done online dating and haven't had to as I am happily married. I do have a friend who was married last year and it was to someone she met online. So it does happen. I would just advise that you be very careful. There are a bunch of sickos out in the world.

i think online dating is another tool to meet one's potential partner. online dating expands our options of making that ever important decision. i welcome online dating for it works for timid and shy people and i have witnessed some wonderful couples who met through the internet. although i have also heard of cases that have not ended well for the couples. still, online dating has a function in making and building relationships unimagined before.

online dating is just another way of meeting people, some times it works some times it dont, just like life.
