I just started scrap booking. I was just wondering if there are any helpful sites or books that could help me get started? Thanks!

One of the best sights I've found is scrapbook.com, it has ideas, quotes, page title ideas, etc. It has a lot of page ideas that are submitted by members, oh and the membership is free. You might also check craft stores in your area, or see if there is a scrapbooking store, they often offer classes that are fun and reasonably priced. Happy scrapping

A little known yet still great scrapbooking blog is http://www.scrapropos.com/ Also http://www.allpaperarts.com/ has some great ideas, though not on just scrapbooking.
It's one of my favorite crafts. I wish I had more moeny to spend on it. I always run out of glue, or can't afford to get all my photos printed. LOL

There are tons of sites. I visit sites more than refer to books or magazines.
Here are a few:

Enjoy!

I happen to like http://pagemaps.com. They have TONS of sketches that help get the creative juices flowing. (At least for me) I've also joined PIF (Pass it Forward) group on Yahoo to trade supplies I no longer use or want in order to get things I've never tried before!

There are so many wonderful resources out there for you. Just remember that if yours doesn't look exactly like something in a book that its okay. I have a friend that is so scared to do something wrong or it won't look perfect that she rarely does anything. She didn't even like to cut a piece of paper fearing mistake. I say just roll with it and the more you do it the better you'll get. It's always neat to look back over your scrapbooks to see the evolution of your scrapbooking style.

I have a blog where I give instruction on how to make pages and layouts, and all kinds of embellishments and such - includes pictures too! these are my own personal layouts. The blog link is in my profile - it is scrapbook-layout-ideas.blogspot.com
The best magazine in my opinion is Creating Keepsakes. Best for the money and just so many more pictures and tips/ideas and how tos. Year sub was also the cheapest and you got 12 magz insted of 10
