Well all my dad is doing fairly well these days. He is still lazy as hell but he does do some exercising when the PT isn't here. But only if I push him. I usually do a few with him so he will as well. He still does his word search puzzles all day long. As this photo taken a few minutes ago shows he is looking fairly ragged. Should I give him a haircut and shave yet or let it grow till after the holidays? HAHAHA! He uses an electric razor a bunch of times during the day. Not to actually shave but for something to do I think as they don't really shave all that well. Just wanted to let all know that dads doing good lately. Thanks. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Well I'm glad he's doing well. Too bad he didn't see a little chick at the home that sparked an interest!!! The senior homes here even have dancing sometimes. Funny as all get out to watch but provides for darn good exercize.

Funny about the word puzzles, as my father has become obssessed with them too. Actually it is a good idea as it will help keep his brain active, more so than sitting in front of the box all day. Laziness, well, not much you can do here except encourage him & lead by example.

I do crossword puzzles daily myself. The word searches are too easy for me. I like the challange and the prospect of learning new words daily as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Yeah he lets me do it. he is cheap and doesn't want to pay anyone to do it. HAHAHA! I shave his heald bald then use the same hair clippers on his face. Then he uses the portable electric razor for a better finish. He stopped to look up from his book was all. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I don't think he looks all that ragged. A shave and a trim might help him feel better but I have looked worse - most days of the week. It does sound like he is doing better. Which is a good thing for every one.

Well I think he looks ragged. I'll shave his head after his bath lady comes today. I'd rather cut clean hair than dirty hair. HAHAHAHAHA!! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!`

Over the last few years of her life, my Mom was perfectly content to sit in her chair and do those circle word search books...and smoke! I am glad that your Dad has settled back into the house. I am also glad to hear that you are participating in his exercises...it does seem to encourage them...although at times, it can be a battle.. Good luck, my friend. Blessed Be.

He used to go to Bingo at the casino each and every day of the year from 11 a.m. till 11 p.m. Back when he would walk that is. I have asked if he wants to go to the small local Bingo halls but he is content in his chair. So be it. HAHAHAHA! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Good news is that he's settled back in. Let him decide if he wants his hair cut or if he prefers it longer! LOL. Glad things are going better for him and for you. He'll at least be company while Deb is gone!

HAHAHAHAHA!! That's funny actually. I can cut his hair and shave him then the next day he asks again, "When you going to give me a haircut." HAHAHAHA! This memory loss is funny at times if you know what I mean. I tell him, "Okay" Then I say Im done feel your head for yourself. HAHA! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I will have to take a glimpse of your ragged old man. If the shaver is something to do, how about a palm massager, as well. I have one that looks like a bug, and I love it to pieces. Don't look now, but doing the little bits of exercise with your dad may just be good for you, too. I get my stretches in in the morning at school, because I have a little guy that I help stretch his legs. I know it is good for me. I will give you an opinion about your dad's haircut when I comment on your picture, as I am answering from e-mail and have not seen it yet. You know, I used to have a site that would create word search puzzles. I will have to look for it again.

Hello there grand pa bob, its nice to hear that your dad is going well and good though a bit lazy and analytical with his electric razor. I have not tried electric razors coz I use the manual for daily use. Hugs and kisses to your dad. Happy mylotting and have a nice day!
