Yesterday I was reviewing some websites for some review articles I am writing. I ran across one that caught my attention. It was about how Satan gets to you, they said he gets to you by changing the spelling of his name and putting on a red suit. I never noticed that before because to me Santa was always a fun fable about a jolly fat guy.
But here are the things the website said,
Satan has all the same letters of Santa
Satans signiture color is red for the blood he will try to take from you as is Santas
Satan tries to give you things possessions to keep you from Christ, santa gives you toys to help you forget the reason for celebrating is the birth of Christ
Santa uses the stories of elves and fairies, Satan uses demons all to get you over to his side.
What do you think about this?

I am not offended I just thought it was weird that people no matter who they are would come up with stuff like this.

I have a friend who was raised Jehovah Witness she believes in the connection between santa and satan. We do not get into discussions about it as it would be akward. I do Letters from Santa each year so you can see how that would make that discussion a little uncomfortable for us. We agree to diagree. I love doing my letters from Santa it brings me much joy to know that I am spreading a little magic and a lot of joy and love during the season.
Do I believe in Santa? I believe in a loving and giving spirit whether it be embodied in a jolly sweet man in a red suit or in anyone else who gives of themselves so that others may have peace and joy in thier lives. After all Santa's entire exsistance is to bring joy to children everywhere.

I think it is ridiculous. I mean come on. If some joker said women have no privates because it is impossible for them to bleed for five days and not die would you believe that? That is made up. Next thing you know they will say that life is the devil because lived is an anagram of devil.

Great comment that was what I asked them, I said that that means nothing because God is everything, the creator of everything, giver of all that is life and backwards it spells dog. So I dont know why people look for satan everywhere I just thought the sight was different.

Satan can transform even as angel of light to get people. He can deceive anybody as he deceived Eva with lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and pride of life. Well Christmas is not in the Holy Bible and Santa may therefore be an instrument of Satan.

My opinion matters not in this; however I do care about smiles on children's faces. I would like to say that I am in total disagreement with this and call it stupid and nonsensical; but if I did that, I'm afraid that perhaps you had found your way to a Jehovah's Witness site. If that is the case, it's an entirely different scenario to me. You don't know me well enough to know that I believe that everyone has a right to their personal faith, the faith that gets them through their deepest sorrows, and the faith that they want to share their happiest moments with. The Jehovah's Witness way is not my way; but I have the deepest respect for those that follow that path. ~Donna

I think I'm tired of people coming up with stupid reasons to ruin Christmas. The idea behind Santa was created before "Santa" was so it really makes no sense from a historical view point. And besides that we could come up with comparisons like that for just about anything....The sun is evil because it uses the same name as The Son only spelled differently. The sun gives us beautiful RED sunsets to attract us. The sun gives us golden tans to make us give in to vanity and turn away from God. It does not appear for as long (in the Northern hemisphere) during the time of Christ's birthday to make half of the world despise that time...I'm sure you get my point without me having to go on!
