What should i do if i get bad grades ( I NEED SERIOUS HELP!)

My mom is strict about my work and everything. If I get one bad mark like under grade average she is disapointed and grounds me for a while and yells at me. Sometimes i lose my privelidges permanently. I try to work but my friend distracts me in class and I have a hard time remebering and paying attention. My grampa expects me to get a 95% average!
That is insanely high! I am saying how would i ever do that. PLease respond to this post and help me out guys and girls.

I'd talk with your friend if s/he is disturbing you during lessons. Just tell that it makes you lose your focus and you can't keep paying attention... And as to stop.
Also, try talking with your mother. Tell her and prove that you're trying hard, but it isn't that easy. Tell her it's not fair to ground you for getting bad mark and that it doesn't motivate you. Try to convince her that if she give you more freedom, it won't affect your marks...

Thanks for our help but um i have lied multiple times and my mom is starting to lose trust. I told her i was doning ok in school and ya. I tried to convince her that its not fair to ground me all she says is the same dam thing. You ask me why you dont deserve this. "when do you ever do your chores? When i tell you to take out the garbage you never do it 100%. YOu always leave out the recycling. You have been doing this for 5 years how do you forget? And then shes says listen i dont expect you to get 90% but i want you to try your hardest" Thats what she says. I try but im just either lazy or if i study for a test and i get bad i dont want to show it to my mom.
Help me outs guys i only have 3 more days till i hand in my mid terms. Although it was due 2 days ago

95% average is possible for mathematics .. you just need to get everything right. For other subjects you need to negotiate with your parents, tell them the highest mark of the class and explain that you can only get to that high or 5 points below that. For example, arts and physical education teachers wouldn't give such a high mark to students except for art/sport genius, these subjects will lower your average grade, you need to explain this to your grandpa. I believe he will listen to you.

sounds rough. They ate expecting an awful lot. I would suggest not sitting next to friends during class as they can be a distraction. You could also ask the teachers in the classes in which you think you are doing lower in if they have some extra credit projects that you could do.
