Leo was robbed!

He was nominated last year, just not for this movie. He was nominated for Blood Diamond. It could happen but it's very rare that an actor could get more than one nomination. I don't think Academy Awards would do that. He was amazing in this movie and has turned into a very good actor and he is certainly getting the recognition for it. I think in time he will get everything he deserves.

I could watch this movie over and over again. It's a great movie. Leo has left the teen heart throb category and is a wonderful serious actor. To think he wasn't nominated for an oscar is crazy cause he was awesome in this movie. It's one of the best movies that I have seen in a long time.

I always feel someone's been unfairly left out and there are some who seem to get nominated even if their role doesn't demand more than a sneeze. It's all politics as usual with all these awards. Although Leo was nominated for Blood Diamond so sometimes when an actor has two or more really strong roles they sort of cancel themselves out, so to speak. I haven't seen The Departed yet; I've got it on my DVR but I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Maybe tonight or tomorrow since you really got me interested. Annie

Definitely! He was awesome in this movie...and hott! My brother and I love this movie!

Personally, I think Matt and Damon were much better in this film.
