Write about what you know. What are your hobbies? What are you an expert in? In oder to make money from your blog you need good content that's going to keep readers coming back.

The best blogs are on something that you are passionate about and knowledgable about. Somethign that you can write well about often and feel inspired. If it is well written the moeny will come to you. Ask yourself what hobbies you love, talents you have, media you enjoy, or lifestyle that you live and could write on. Just think of something you love talking to your friends and others and you could keep on writing even if you are not going to be paid. Think about any special features about yourself and think about anything that you are damn specialist in and think about what is your hobby is and go in that line and start a blog in that niche, you will succeed.

One thing you mustn't do is start a blog for the sake of starting one.you will get bored and discourages easily..to have a successful blog you must have discipline and post regularly id you want to build a following.Start on a subject that you feel good about and it will just flow. Its usually best to write something you know first hand about. A place you visited on vacation, something like that. As for blogs there's a bunch of free blog sites but good luck making a lot of money at it. It takes a lot of time and effort just to make a little money. I'd try to look at it as expressing yourself and as a bonus you might make some extra spending money.
