The Children Are the Future, But We Must Take Care of Them Today

I try to make sense of the suffering that occurs in the world, more speecifically the suffering that occurs in this country. There are children growing iup in homes wiht unfit parents. There are children without enough food to eat. There are children who are cold, because there is no heat in the house.
If they children are our future, why don't we do a better job of taking care of them?

This has been the story since the world began. People have always been raised in horrible circumstances and modern times are no different. I feel that every one can do their part to help the world be better. Respect and love all forms of life. I hear what your saying and I don't disagree. You can't save everybody but maybe if you help just one then that one will help another one, and so on.
