In China,in the ordinary circumstances, our students go to school at 7 o'clock early morning to study by themselves and go home at 5 o'clock afternoon. There are more than eight classes during a day. Our students are very laborious. Then,in your country, how students' daily schedule are?

Hello and hi my friend angel. It's so happy that your country's students. At least, they don't need to get up early at morning then sleep at the classes. Our country also has "study by yourself" in the evening. So there is little time for students to paly. How pitiful they are! Good luck.

Hi my friend sugarfloss. It is similar with chinese students. The students are the most laborious people.Remember the time that i was a student, also crossed like this. But i didn't feel so tired at that time. Now look at these children,i feel they are very pitiful. Good luck.

please don't remind me of those days.... but now I'm living a even worse life. I get up at 5 in the morning and go to school at 6, coz I live so far away, and I usually arrive home at 9 in the evening. And I am studying in Canada now! Hard to believe?

You thought this is a worse life? Then you must consider you live like this for what. Each one may come across such matter, the key is optimistic.

niushuang,it seems students in China's big cities such as Beijing and Shanghai have a much more comfortable life than students elsewhere.i come from Shandong and when i was in high school,i had to stay at school even in the evening, called "evening classes"which usually ends at 9:30.when i got home it was already 10 and i had to finish the homework.i went to bed usually at 11 in the evening or even later.it is obvious that students in China are having a big burden of school work:(

Hi,my friend. I teach in the Beijing suburb, here students stay at school for a week, then the holiday.During a week they also take "evening classes" and teachers must stay with them until classes over.

In Singapore, for primary school children (age 7-12) and secondary school students (age 13-17), school starts around 7.30am-1.30pm for morning session and 12.30-6pm for afternoon. But usually they can't go back on time because of co-curricular activities and remedial lessons. For students 17 and above, usually their timetable is much longer and may range from 7.30am to 6pm (depending on school). Niu Shuang, what is the age range for th students in China with that timetable? If it's for primary school children, it's horrible! They need a life to play and enjoy childhood!

In Virginia in the US, it varies for age. In primary school, kids in my area start around 8:40 in the morning and go until 3 pm (though on Mondays they get out at 1:00). Secondary school students generally start anywhere between 7 and 7:30 in the morning, and get out between 2 and 2:30 in the afternoon.
