I'm currently studying an IT course from home while my partner works during the day and I work weekends. I also look after our 7 month old boy. I'm finding that Im not getting much study done these days because `Connor' (our son) needs a lot of attention. And its not just that, I also love being around him. I know my studies are important but its very hard to concentrate when all I want to do his play with my son.
Are there any other dads out there in similar situations as myself?
Would love to hear from ya!
cheers

I think coordinating and adjusting your time is the best thing to do here. It's nice because you're a good dad and you think so much for your son.
There are a lot of fathers out there who doesn't care for their own child.
Keep doing what is right.:-)

hi Jonny.i can very well understand that you love to play with your son.its good as well.since child needs first attention.however your career is also very important.you will have to make some adjustments in your rountine for sometime.since small babies sleep a lot.whenever your son is sleeping you can study and when gets up you can enjoy your time.try to concentrate on your studies as well since the more you earn the better life you can give to your son.being a dad you have the added responsibility of taking care of your wife as well.
