Have you ever thought or tried committing suicide? Why, please share your personal thoughts and experience. It came across my mind before when I was grade 5 when I thought of the decades of hardships, sufferings and pain I have to go through and eventually end similarly in the tomb, and thought of why not ending life now when the end is the same anyway and save myself from future hardships. Of course, that was before I met the Lord Jesus.
Suicide bombers are also welcome to share their thoughts. :)

Hopelessness and helplessness can also lead one to think of ending life. Our souls can only endure a limited degree of pressure, some greater some lesser. Some can only take in so little that a failing grade would cause them to jump out from a school building.

I had, It was depression, hopelessness, helplessness..
But for me the biggest thing was Fear. I did not fear much else other than my dreams and visions. I had psychic abilities opening up. I thought I had schizophrenia, I could hardly function do to these abilities so I fear them the more I fear them the more out of control they became.. I would trance and cut without realising it.. I was seriously bad..
But after I accepted I had these abilities started to learn to control them, and feared them less. They were less frigthening did not take over every aspect of my life as they once had...
And I was on the road to recovering from severe depression.
I still have the dreams and visions, but I am not afraid of them as much althought they still make life difficult. I am willing to experience them because I have saved lives through information that came through them....
And for me that is worth living for, and not something to be so scared of worth dying to escape. - DNatureofDTrain
