Anyone taking Ambien?

My doctor recommended I take Ambien to help me sleep. I'm a little uncomfortable with taking a sleep aide. Is anyone taking this medication? Does it help? Are you experiencing any side effects?

i am taking ambien, and so far havent had any side effects at all. i wake up in the morning feeling great, no grogginess or tiredness.. it works really well for me and i would recomend giving it a try if your doc thinks you should. there are other sleep aides out there too that work just as well for putting you to sleep but they never gave me the same feeling of relaxation in the morning. hope this helps a bit
