on the job training?

its december now and some schools are having on the job trainings and some companies are having on the job trainees.
our company has on the job undertrainees now from a nearby school. did you experience on the job training while in college?
I did not experience on the job training since our school has high accreditation and we do not need to have on the job training.
so I did not experience one.

back in college, we had to undergo a practicum, equivalent to ojt. actually, we had two choices, we either do a thesis or do a practicum. we chose to do a practicum because that way, we can experience working in a true-blue working environment and we can experience reality in the "real world". ^__^ we did experience working but we didn't take it as "real work" because we had too much fun while doing it. LOL we met some nice friends and good people that made our stay in that company memorable. ^__^ so for us, it wasn't actually a job. it was an experience. ^__^
