Going to extremes to say I am sorry

One of my friends piss me off big time. He was suppose to drop me off at the airport but over sleep like for four hours and didn't pick up the darn phone. In order to say he was sorry he drove me to my destination which was 8 hours long and wine and dine me till I accepted his apology. What have you done or someone has done that was extreme to say sorry?

1st i would like to say that your friend is sincere and responsible for the mistake he make.good for you to have friend like that.i do have a very heavy problem with my best friend couple of years ago,and what she sad had hurt me a lot and make me avoiding her for about 3mth.but i always end up forgive my friend even they didnt apologize.

It is always good to have a forgiving heart. It takes a lot to forgive someone and sometimes for me it is very hard to forgive. I am learning though, I can forgive but I find it even harder to forget. Forgetting is the best thing one can do but it is almost impossible to do...

Think just to accept his apology maybe he fall asleep,or he has emegercy problem.just ask your friend what is the real reason why he dont answer his phone when you will call. or the best choice just ignore him he will come and ask for apology

He was so tired from working an 18 hour shift and not had any sleep for a week he fell asleep in the tub LOL. But I was so angry didn't want to hear it them. Thanks for the comment.
