Pompeo irritating

I really like Grey's anatomy but the main character is really irritating, don't you think? Meredith is perfect, she has everything on the palm of her hand but that's not enough.My friends and I started calling her POMPELMO instead of Pompeo because it means grapefruit in Italian. In first episodes everybody was crazy about her, even patients were kissing her. Isn't that a fairytale?

I would agree with you. Actually, I have been turned off to the show for most of the season. Most of the characters just seem awfully whiney and irritating lately. "I can't have this, I can't have that." Where in reality, they have everything they really need.
My favorite character is Dr. Bailey because her problems are real problems. She works a lot and doesn't see fer family and everyone is suffering because of it. She has the most clarity when it comes to everything and doesn't think about herself in dire situations.
Whereas someone is dying and all either Grey characters can do is think about their poor loathesome lives. They are supposed to be 20-30 somethings and I know children with a better understanding of reality than them.

Yeah, I am pretty tired of her complaining about how life sucks. At least you didn't get left at the alter. Christine is seemingly moving on with her life, yet Meredith can't seem to break away from the monotony. The same is true with Derek because every time he wants to break things off, he can't because he loves her so much.
I am really rooting for McDreamy and Rose. He needs someone who is going to appreciate who he is and what he can offer.

Meridith is one of the characters I don't like on the show. She has so much and thinks her life is a mess. Most of us would like a good job that we want and good friends to share the good and bad times.
My favorite is Dr. Bailey and I would stop watching if the actress left the show. She has real problems trying to balance marriage and a career, which many of us can relate to this problem. Its hard to be successful at work and have a supportive husband, who knows you will miss many firsts in the babies life.
