Hi & Hello,computershack41143.
There are so many dragon myth in this world; Japanase, Chinese, Greek, Egytian and Indian. Myths are fun and entertaining for us to read today but in the ancient days, it played a vital role in shaping the ways of their lives. Myths are the product of their huge imaginations and they are used as explanations for unpredictable events and phenomenon.
One of the myths and legends about dragons they blow fire and that it represents the Chinese culture. The only problem is that some of the people have not talked about some of the other dragons that they have believed to exist.
The dragon for both Chinese and Japanese cultures symbolizes power and excellence. Greek dragon represent the God. Indian dragon mythology is very interesting. From Hindu dragon mythology to Buddhist dragon mythology, there are so many extravagent tales. Egyptian dragon mythology involve in many mystery, murder, magic, surprise, all of these things.
Happy Postings and Earnings, computershack41143.

Interesting... you actually did your room up in a dragon theme?
Any pictures of your room to share?
Which kind of dragons do you like?
The western versions or the eastern versions?
Why do you like these mythical beast?
What special meaning do they hold for you?

To Chinese people like us, dragons are creatures of fortune. Dragons are imaginative cool and lovely creatures and I like them very much. I like to read fancy legends about dragons since childhood. I do like to see sculptures of different forms of dragons on the pillars and walls of ancient Chinese buildings. The dragon chasing the peal ball is an attractive performance in the dragon dance.

oh i have to say that i love dragons as well. I have been collegting them for about 5 years. My bedroom is also done in dragons. Anytime my friends find a dragon they get one for me. ::laughs:: my husband now when we first got together got me this great dragons that lights up the crystals next to the dragon. He had it sent to my work. He is the nicest guy i know. I love him so much. Since we both love dragons so much.
Also many people today believe dragons follow us around even though we can not see them. So you never know you may have dragons that take care of you. May that is why you are drawn to them so much.
